Prices are sourced from the French government's Prix-Carburants open data feed, which is updated every 10 minutes at source. Our system refreshes data multiple times per day, so prices are typically less than a few hours old.

All data comes from the French Ministry of Economy's official open data portal (prix-carburants.gouv.fr). Gas station operators are legally required to report their prices, making this the most comprehensive and reliable source of French fuel prices.
The current national average diesel price in France is €2.236 per liter, ranging from €1.249 (cheapest) to €2.999 (most expensive) across 7,788 reporting stations.
