Why the EU Weekly Oil Bulletin shows a higher petrol price in Denmark
The prices on this page are pump prices that Danish fuel companies (OK, Circle K/INGO, Q8/F24, Shell, OIL!, Go'on, Uno-X) must publish through legally mandated price APIs. The figure for Denmark in the European Commission’s Weekly Oil Bulletin is reported by the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority and is based on current consumer prices minus the previous quarter’s average discounts (Commission country notes). For diesel, the Bulletin figure ranged from 4.8% below to 1.0% above our weekly average pump price. For Euro-super 95, over the 10 weekly bulletins from 20 July to 21 September 2026, the Bulletin figure was 8.8–12.1% above our weekly average pump price and 0.9–4.6% above Drivkraft Danmark’s daily recommended retail price (“vejledende udsalgspris”).

Every price here comes from official per-station price APIs published by each Danish fuel brand (OK, Circle K/INGO, Q8/F24, Shell, OIL!, Go'on, Uno-X), mandated by brændstofprisbekendtgørelsen §16a. We refetch it several times a day and show when each station last reported — the most recent refresh was 46 min ago.
Why is the cheapest station cheaper than the average?
Because an average hides the spread. Right now the cheapest diesel in Denmark is 18.19 kr and the most expensive is 22.54 kr — a gap of 4.35 kr per litre, which is real money on a full tank.
