From the town in each station address, matched against a fixed list of UK towns with their counties. UK postcode areas cross county borders on purpose — SK covers Stockport in Greater Manchester, Macclesfield in Cheshire and Buxton in Derbyshire — so a postcode cannot tell you a county.
Every price comes from Fuel Finder — UK Competition and Markets Authority. We fetch it again several times a day; the last price change was 9h 1min ago.
