What the numbers are

Weekly

EU countries: the European Commission’s EU Weekly Oil Bulletin, national average prices including taxes, in € per litre. The EU average is the Commission’s own figure, weighted by each country’s consumption. In the full-tank chart, an amount in a national currency uses the ECB reference rate of the price date (the bulletin’s Monday), not today’s rate; the date of the rate is printed on the chart.

Live

Countries outside the EU (Serbia, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Montenegro, Türkiye, the UK…): the average of station prices from national feeds, collected by us several times a day, converted at the ECB rate.
