Tyrol: weekend exit bans
Last winter (20 Dec 2025 – 6 Apr 2026) Tyrol closed selected roads in the districts of Kufstein, Reutte, Imst and Schwaz to traffic avoiding the motorway, on weekends and public holidays from 7:00 to 19:00; traffic to or from a place in the area was exempt. The dates for winter 2026/27 had not been published when we checked: plan to stay on the motorway until your exit.

How these numbers are made
Distance and driving time come from OSRM on OpenStreetMap data, computed once per route and stored. The page itself makes no network call.
Fuel price is the median of per-station prices in each country crossed, weighted by the kilometres driven there. Where we have no per-station feed, the EU Weekly Oil Bulletin is used instead and labelled as such.
Tolls are the vignettes required in the countries crossed, the tunnels and bridges within 5 km of the route, and the motorway sections matched by road number, charged in proportion to the kilometres driven on them. Where our database has no charge for a stretch of tolled motorway, that is said in the table rather than guessed at silently.
Prices in other currencies use the same daily rate as the rest of the site (2026-09-30).
The ski routes were chosen from what drivers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Czechia, Denmark and the UK search for before a ski trip (Google Trends 2021–2026 and our own search data).
