    Sources, licences and method

    Every value on this page comes from an official source. Monthly cells are averages of the weekly, monthly or daily figures of that month.

    • Priority per country: EU Weekly Oil Bulletin first, then UK DESNZ (United Kingdom), Statistics Norway, Swiss BFS, and the daily median of live station prices only where the bulletin has no figure.
    • Isolated spikes in the bulletin are hidden; live days with too few stations reporting are left out. Norway in euros starts in 1999, with the ECB rate.
    • Updated when a source publishes something new: live prices daily, the EU bulletin weekly, Norway and Switzerland monthly. The current month is marked as in progress.
