This recap covers the period from 3 August to 10 October 2026; from now on the recap appears every Sunday when the national average of diesel or petrol moves by at least 0.3% over the week.

About the data
The national average is the unweighted mean of the prices reported each day by at least 6,700 stations, for Gazole (B7) and SP95-E10 (E10), from prix-carburants.gouv.fr (Ministère de l’Économie, des Finances et de la Souveraineté industrielle et numérique). A day on which far fewer stations than usual report is left out of our series. Percentages are calculated from unrounded averages; prices are rounded to two decimals, and fill-up differences are calculated from the prices shown. How we calculate.
