About the data

The national average is the mean of end-of-day prices (each station's last reading of the day) across more than 1,100 stations, for the standard grades (Motorină standard and Benzină standard) in the Monitorul Prețurilor Carburanților of the Romanian Competition Council. Percentages are calculated from unrounded averages; prices are rounded to two decimals, and fill-up differences are calculated from the prices shown. How we calculate.

On 9 and 10 October the source was unavailable for about 30 hours. The reading of 10 October at 22:15 confirmed prices unchanged from 9 October, so the 10 October values are the ones confirmed by the source.
